What is RentRight?

RentRight is a shared rent record for Nigerian landlords and tenants. It keeps rent payments, receipts, property issues, tenant invites, and messages tied to the right property and unit.

Who should join the private beta?

The first beta is best for landlords and property managers who manage a few rental units and still track rent through WhatsApp, bank alerts, notebooks, spreadsheets, or memory. Tenants who need cleaner proof of payment can join too.

Does RentRight collect or hold rent?

No. During the MVP, RentRight helps you record and confirm rent clearly, but rent still goes directly to the landlord by bank transfer or any payment method both sides already use.

How does RentRight help with rent receipts and proof of payment?

When a payment is recorded, RentRight keeps the tenant, unit, amount, date, reference, and digital receipt in one place. Both landlord and tenant can refer back to the same history later.

Why not just use WhatsApp messages and bank alerts?

WhatsApp and bank alerts are useful, but they are easy to lose, search, misunderstand, or separate from the property record. RentRight keeps the rent conversation, receipt, and unit history together.

Is RentRight for shortlets too?
